You need to invest a LOT of time into this game if you wish to progress in any meaningful manner. This will even further slow your progress, as if the grinding isn't tedious enough already.Ĥ. While the general consensus is that you don't NEED to have those items, you will find yourself greatly disadvantaged and in some cases, snubbed/ignored, due to your lacking of said items. Due to point 2, most of the player base would also have "uber" items that may seem too expensive/out of reach for new players. Most of the game is oriented towards end-game play, so if you are starting out new, you will have a hard time unless you quickly make friends or have an existing player(s) pull you through the first few months.ģ. 80-90% of the active player base all have high level jobs (70+), some may have more (I had 4 lvl75 jobs in 3 years of playing).
